Tippecanoe Co. man sentenced 40 years for child molesting
TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – A Tippecanoe County man will spend 40 years in prison for molesting a 7-year-old girl.
40-year-old Ryan Hilgert pleaded guilty to two counts of child molesting.
Court documents say the incidents happened between August 2014 and April 2016.
The victim told a trained forensic investigator it happened at multiple houses where she lived during kindergarten and first grade.
Investigators also found text messages Hilgert sent, in which he admitted to molesting the girl.
Hilgert was arrested in May.
