Northwest side school bus, car crash slows traffic

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A school bus and car collided on the northwest side of Indianapolis Wednesday morning.

The Pike Township Schools was rear-ended by a car around 7:45 a.m. on Lafayette Road between 52nd and 56th streets.

A tweet from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department stated no one was seriously hurt. A student was on the bus when the collision happened, but they were not hurt.

IMPD warned traffic was slow in the area as emergency crews responded to the accident.
