Preview of the Carmel Symphony Holiday Concert

Oh, the sounds of the season! Jesse Hawkins and Julie Scull of The Carmel Symphony Orchestra give us a preview of their holiday concert coming to the Palladium on Saturday.

Here are a few details:

– CSO’s IU Health Holidays with Ann Hampton Callaway. The performances will be at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Palladium on December 10 (THIS Saturday)

– Special guest conductor – internationally renowned Maestro Charles Prince.

– Perfect for audiences of all ages. Includes holiday favorites from the CSO like Mel Torme’s “Christmas Song,” the moving “Mary Did You Know” as well as an audience sing-along. Callaway’s unique singing style that blends jazz and traditional pop will entertain all ages with familiar tunes “White Christmas” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” as well as her original songs including “Christmas Lullaby” – a song from Barbara Streisand’s holiday repertoire.

– Affordable holiday fun for the family. Youth tickets are $5. Student tickets are $10.

The resident orchestra of the Palladium. Founded in 1975 as a community orchestra, the CSO has grown into a full arts organization with an 85-member orchestra. Comprised of professional and formally trained musicians who share a joy of making music, with the vast majority studying privately through college and, in many cases, beyond. More than half of the musicians have been with the orchestra for 15 years or longer
