Study: Regular marijuana use might affect vision

(WISH) – Regular marijuana use may affect your vision, according to a new study.

According to the study study in the Journal Ophthalmology, marijuana can cause problems with the retina.

The study compared those who smoked at least 7 times a month to those who never smoked.

Researchers tested 52 people. 28 were regular cannabis users and 24 who didn’t use the drug. They say those who use the drug had a slight delay in processing what they were seeing.

The study showed marijuana affects certain cells in the retina so it takes longer for the visual information to get from the eye to the brain.
