INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Dick Wolfsie was outside the Lilly House at the Indianapolis Museum of Art Sunday morning to discuss the upcoming events happening.

Jonathan Wright, Horticulturalist with the IMA, joined Wolfsie Sunday morning to share what’s going to be happening within the next couple of weeks at the IMA.

  • Winter Film Festival (Dec. 17) 
    • All day holiday film festival selected by the Teen Arts Council
    • Noon: Winter short selection
    • 2 p.m.: Winter short selection
    • 4 p.m.: Edward Scissorhands (1990, dir. Tim Burton, 105 mins., PG-13)
    • 7 pm – Die Hard (1988, dir. John McTiernan, 131 mins., R)
    • 12 p.m. – 9 p.m.
    • The Toby
    • $6 members
    • $10 public
    • $12 members
    • $20 public all day pass
    • All day holiday film festival selected by the Teen Arts Council
  • Winter Soltice Celebration (Dec. 22):
    • Free night at the IMA for family
    • Single along with carolers
    • Create winter art
    • Meet arctic creatures
    • Watch blocks of ice transport into sculptures for all ages family event
    • Warm up by the first with treats from General American Donut Co., Pi Indy Pizza and Sun King Brewing Co.
    • Celebration around holiday tree
    • The IMA asks guests to bring donation of a new toy or non-perishable food item for the IMA’s community partner, Mid-North Food Pantry
