Indy Symphonic Choir joins Daybreak in honor of Festival of Carols

CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) – It’s the 80th anniversary season of the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir. Some of the performers joined 24-Hour News 8’s studios Sunday morning to give us a preview of their work.  Mike Slocum from the organization’s board of directors, elaborated on a long-time tradition for the choir.

Slocum discussed the Festival of Carols and how it’s gained tremendous popularity over the years.

The talked about the concert and what people can expect, as well as what sets it apart from other concerts throughout the year.

Slocum said they added a 5th performance this year and shared information about the upcoming performances.

The choir will perform the Festival of Carols at the Palladium in Carmel:

  • Friday, Dec. 16 at 8 p.m.
  • Saturday, Dec. 17 at 3 p.m.
  • Saturday, Dec. 17 at 8 p.m.
  • Sunday, Dec. 18 at 3 p.m.

All ages are encouraged to attend the family-friendly show.
