Rexnord, Carrier workers holding prayer vigil for 1,700 jobs not protected

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Rexnord and Carrier workers will hold a prayer vigil Sunday evening.

Officials said it’s for the 1,700 jobs not protected by President-elect Donald Trump’s deal with United Technologies.

Indiana labor leaders, elected officials and community activists are expected to be at the vigil.

It starts at 5 p.m. at Mount Olive Ministries on the southwest side.
