Police: Greenwood woman bites husband’s scrotum; husband arrested

GREENWOOD, Ind. (WISH) – A Greenwood man was arrested after a domestic incident in which his wife bit his scrotum.

According to the Greenwood Police Department, officers responded to a domestic battery in the 2200 block of Blossom Drive on Dec. 10.

On their way to the scene, officers received a call that the husband, Dan Deaton, was attempting to leave the scene in a black Honda Accord. A responding officer spotted the vehicle as it failed to stop at a stop sign at 75 West and Worthsville Road. After pulling the vehicle over, the driver identified himself as Dan Deaton. Deaton stated he was on his way to the police station to report he had been assaulted by his wife, Stacy Deaton.

Dan Deaton told officers that he sat on his wife in order to calm her down during an argument. It was at that point he said she bit his scrotum.

Stacy Deaton told officers the argument stemmed over her husband’s loyalty in the relationship. At that point, Stacy Deaton said her husband threw her at the top of the stairs. The altercation then moved to the bedroom where Dan Deaton reportedly sat on his wife, threw her about the room and put his hands over her mouth and nose.

Stacy Deaton said she bit her husband’s scrotum in order to free herself. At that time, Deaton said her husband then threw her across the room.

Police said inside the house a table appeared to be broken and a mattress looked to have been disturbed. Police also said bruises were discovered on Stacy Deaton’s arms and back as well as rug burns on both forearms.

Dan Deaton was taken into custody.
