Volunteers pack winter-ready kits for homeless
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – IU Health volunteers packed hundreds of winter-ready kits for the homeless.
The volunteers packed 900 kits Tuesday evening for those in need.
Each kit came with a hat, a pair of gloves, socks, toiletries and a warm blanket, materials needed to survive the winter season. A handwritten note of encouragement also went into each of the kits.
The kits will be given to the homeless at a later date.
