Former IU employee arrested for dealing drugs

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) — A Bloomington man has been charged with dealing drugs out of his apartment.

The Indiana University Police Department said the investigation into 22-year-old Dylan Maulden began in mid-October. IUPD said officers made several purchases from Maulden. IUPD said Maulden is a former Indiana University employee.

A search of his apartment on South Adams Street found:

  • 369 grams of marijuana
  • 17 Xanax tablets
  • Two grams of cocaine
  • 2.1 grams of mushrooms
  • 153 grams of THC edibles
  • 27 grams of spice
  • Several Vyvanse tablets
  • Various items of drug paraphernalia

According to online court records, Maulden faces ten felony charges and four misdemeanor counts. He has an initial hearing in court on Thursday afternoon.

The Bloomington Police Department assisted in the investigation.
