Kohl’s staying open for 107 hours straight before Christmas

(WISH) – American families are taking on increasing amounts of debt as incomes fail to keep pace, and Kohl’s says it will stay open for days before Christmas.

Indebted households have cred card balances averaging $16,000, just shy of 2008’s high, according to a new Nerdwallet report.

Total household debt, including mortgages, has increased to $132,000.

In other business headlines, Kohl’s stores are opening for 107 hours straight before Christmas.

It would stay open non-stop in the final run-up to Christmas Eve.

The department store chain said doors at most stores would stay open around the clock from 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20 until Dec. 24 at 6 p.m. That comes tot 107 hours.
