Delta Airlines preparing for higher fuel prices

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – There’s outrage about a new trend in health care. And Delta Airlines is preparing for higher fuel prices.

Doctors and hospitals asking patients to pay in full before treatment.

Kaiser Health News reports, some medical offices are keeping patients credit cards on file and will charge-even for treatments in the thousands-before performing them. An advisory board study recently showed that the higher a person’s deductible, the less likely they were to pay the full bill.

In other business headlines, Delta says it expected fuel prices to be higher in 2017 for the first time since 2014.

Fuel prices have been on the way up especially since OPEC announced it would cut production. Delta did not say if those higher fuel prices would mean higher ticket prices.
