INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis police are investigating the shooting death of a man on the east side of the city early Friday morning.
Officers were called to an apartment building in the 6200 block of Eastridge Drive shortly after 1 a.m.
A man was found shot in a second floor apartment. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police say they don’t believe he lived in the apartment. The apartment’s sliding glass door was broken, police say.
Authorities have not released the man’s name.
