Roof of downtown Indy bar, restaurant collapses
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The roof of an Indianapolis bar and restaurant collapsed Saturday afternoon.
According to the Indianapolis Fire Department, a small portion of the roof of an interior wall collapsed at The Eagle located in the 300 block of Massachusetts Avenue.
An IFD captain says the weight of the water on the roof was too much. Everyone who was inside the popular restaurant at the time managed to escape without injury.
The incident happened just before 3 p.m. Saturday.
