New survey finds colleges aren’t preparing students for workforce

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A new survey claims college is not really preparing people for the workforce.

A new Gallup survey says colleges aren’t preparing student well for the workforce.

More than half of college graduates say they visited their school’s career services office at least once, but only 16 percent said it was helpful, according to a recent report from Gallup and Purdue University.

Colleges are trying to chance that by sending job tips on Skype and giving tips on interview skills.
