Enjoy Chocolate, Chocolate, and More Chocolate this weekend

Can you ever have TOO much chocolate?! Not today! In our kitchen this morning? The Cakehole, Peacetree Mountain Truffles and Arts for Learning. Talk about a partnership, and it’s all for a great cause! Here’s more:

• Arts for Learning’s Chocolate Fest fundraising event is taking place on April 8th at the Indianapolis Artsgarden from 10am-2pm

• Adult Tickets are $15 online and $20 at the door and include 10 sampling tickets

• Kids tickets are $5 and include 5 sampling tickets

• 15 Indiana vendors will be sampling chocolate tastings as well as selling full size products

• Arts for Learning teaching artists will also be performing throughout the day

• Two Arts for Learning teaching artists will be putting on a children’s activity in the day

Arts for Learning is the oldest and largest arts in education organization in the state of Indiana. For more than 55 years, Arts for Learning has been bringing high quality arts in education programming to students throughout the state of Indiana wherever they are. Last year, our teaching artists served more than 60,000 students in community centers, schools, hospitals, juvenile detention centers and more.

• 2 cups flour

• 2 cups sugar

• 3/4 cup cocoa

• 2 teaspoons baking soda

• 2 large eggs

• 1 teaspoon salt

• 1 cup vegetable oil

• 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

• 1 cup hot water

• 1 cup homemade buttermilk (1 tablespoon vinegar in measuring cup and fill with milk up to 1 cup)

300 degrees for 1 hour
