1 killed in west side crash
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One person has died following a one-vehicle crash on the city’s west side.
The fatal accident happened in the 2700 block of Country Club Road just after 8 p.m.
According to the Wayne Township Fire Department, the vehicle struck a tree. Police said a 2004 Mazda 6S was traveling northbound on Country Club Road at a high rate of speed. The driver, 24-year-old Zachary Miller, lost control of his vehicle going into a curve, going off the roadway and struck a tree.
Miller was taken to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital, but did not survive.
