IMPD Chief talks plan to cut down violent crime in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indianapolis city leaders are hoping to make an old plan new again in an effort cut down violent in the Circle City.

The mayor and police chief are joining forces  and have announced they will relaunch the Indianapolis Violence Reduction Partnership.  It’s a plan the city used in the 90’s to help cut crime rates and they believe it will work again.

IMPD Chief Roach stopped by WISH-TV to discuss the effort to cut down on crime.
