Thousands expected to attend 500 Festival Parade
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — It will be a busy day downtown as race fans pack into downtown for the 61st annual 500 Festival Parade. The parade will kick off at 12:10 p.m.
It is expected there will be 300,000 thousand people lined up to watch the parade. Since the parade started in 1957 it has grown to be one of the signature events held in the United States every year.
There will be everything from celebrities, bands, to floats and IndyCar drivers.
