Generic password, username used for Equifax database

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – It may be shocking but Equifax used the word “Admin” for the login and password of a database.

The use of a generic password and username means the hack could have been totally preventable.

Meanwhile, the FTC says it is looking into the situation and that’s a big deal because it could mean a big investigation in Washington.
