Three words that can mean everything to children and families, as they strive toward life stability and success.

Today on Indy Style, learn about Christamore House and their mission to empower the people of Haughville and the near-Westside to be self-sufficient and contributing members to a safe and healthy community, through education partnerships and accountability.

Who:

The Christamore House is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit community center that was founded in 1905 by two Butler College graduates, Edna Stover and Edith Surbey.  Their vision was to build a center for education and recreation.  More than a century later, the Christamore House continues to be a pillar of strength in the community and to provide the very best child and youth education services, senior programing, and life skills training to the residents of Haughville and the near-Westside.

What:

Are You Ready to Rumble?  Christamore House’s FIGHT NIGHT fundraiser will be an amazing night of dinner, fun, and amateur boxing bouts featuring boxing clubs from around the Midwest, including the historic Christamore House’s own boxing program, World Beaters.

When:

Saturday, September 30th, 2017, 7:00 p.m.

Why:

Proceeds from the event benefit the youth and family programs of Christamore House, giving children access to high-quality education and families the edge they need to create financial stability for generations.
