No sight needed: The art of automated drawing
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Each and every week Dick Wolfsie shares an interesting and exciting story that has a special connection to central Indiana.
This week, Wolfsie took a trip to Brownsburg to sit down with Keith Hampton, an artist who can create with his eyes closed.
The process is based on automatic drawing, which was a process made by the surrealist in the 1920s and 30s where artists would work with their eyes closed late at night or early in the morning when they’d be almost subconscious.
