IMPD investigates after woman found dead on near north side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Homicide detectives with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are investigating after a woman was found dead in an apartment on the city’s north side.
Officers responded to the 3400 block of North Meridian Street on Friday at 4 p.m. on a report of a deceased person.
Responding officers arrived to find a woman’s body, which appeared to show signs of trauma. Medics pronounced the woman dead on the scene.
The woman has been identified as 51-year-old Catherine Dunaway.
