Cooler and cloudy day

A quiet start to the work week as showers move off to the east. A cold front brings in much cooler air for today with highs in the lower 50s and upper 40s for the afternoon. Winds will be a bit breezy this afternoon. Tonight will be a chilly night with lows falling into the 40s with the possibility of a few stray showers. Tuesday clouds stick around for much of the day with highs on the cooler side during the afternoon topping out in the lower 50s.

Temperatures will remain on the chillier side throughout much of the week highs mid week only topping out in the mid to upper 40s. Lows will fall to near freezing in a lot of places. We see more sunshine by mid week but that doesn’t help temperatures too much.

By the end of the week highs will struggle to make it into the mid 40s. The next chance for some rain arrives on Sunday with highs still in the upper 40s. Some of those showers stick around for the start of next week with highs in the 40s.
