Cooler weather with rain chances tonight for some

The weather will be much quieter, and cooler than the rough weather over the weekend where 6 tornadoes hit Indiana.

THIS EVENING: A disturbance will slide into southern Indiana, and produce some scattered light rain showers. Most of the metro area should be dry with temps in the 40s.

OVERNIGHT: Scattered rain will continue overnight mainly along and south of I-70, and it looks like that may linger into the Tuesday morning drive in those areas.

TUESDAY: Expect rain showers to quickly move out, and mainly cloudy skies to linger. Highs will reach the upper 40s.

8-DAY FORECAST: Most of the week will be quiet, but chilly for this time of year. Highs will only reach the mid and lower 40s through Friday. Milder air will return for Veterans Day and for the Colts game Sunday, but there will be rain chances both days. Highs will reach the upper 40s this weekend.
