Colts, Verizon wireless teaming up to help survivors of domestic violence

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – This weekend, the Indianapolis colts and Verizon Wireless’s “Hopeline” are teaming up to help women and children survivors of domestic abuse.

Julia Kathary, the executive director of Coburn Place and Pat Lewis, the director of retail for Verizon, stopped by Daybreak Thursday.

They discussed this weekend’s phone collection effort.

Additionally, they discussed the kind of phones they are accepting, where the items can be dropped off and whether they are taking any other electronics.
