Late autumn ups and downs continue through the next 8 days

Clouds will begin to increase in coverage as we work into the overnight hours. Temperatures, thanks to a blanket of cloud cover, will be slightly warmer than the previous two nights. Most areas will bottom out in the low to mid 30s.

The increasing clouds are ahead of our next rain opportunity which looks to push in as early as tomorrow morning with better rain chances by tomorrow afternoon. If you’re heading to the Colt’s game against the Steelers, make sure to take the rain gear with you!

The rest of the forecast is full of ups and downs both temperature and rain wise. We’ll see temps rise through mid-week as skies stay clear, but another rain and storm chance will briefly shut down the warm-up on Wednesday.

We’ll clear out and cool down Thursday but a more potent storm system looks to slide our direction by Friday and early Saturday which could briefly push high temps into the low 60s late Friday night, but it will come with a price.

Expect a good amount of rainfall and even a few thunderstorms to close out the work week, unfortunately just in time for high school football semi-state match-ups.

The rain will persist into early Saturday with an opportunity for a few strong storms into Saturday morning before skies clear out Saturday afternoon. We’ll cool down quickly behind that storms with highs in the low 40s Sunday afternoon.
