Nice evening, not as nice weather expected Wednesday

Hope you can enjoy the evening, because rain chances arrive by mid-morning Wednesday.

THIS EVENING: It should be a near-perfect evening across central Indiana.Temps will stay fairly mild in the mid to upper 40s with mostly clear skies.

OVERNIGHT: Clouds will increase, but it will be a mild night, with lows dropping into the mid to upper 30s.

RAIN ARRIVES WEDNESDAY: A fast-moving storm system will arrive in the morning hours in western Indiana, then sweep east across the state during the day. Everybody should see rain at some point, but accumulations should be light. With a strong southerly wind, highs will approach 50°

STRONGER STORM SYSTEM IN THE 8-DAY FORECAST: Thursday will be dry, but chilly, with highs in the 40s. Late Friday another storm system arrives with strong wind and rain. This looks to last through most of the day Saturday. As colder air rushes in, we could see a few flurries or snow showers late Saturday. Sunday looks dry, but cold. Somewhat milder air returns next week, but it looks to be still below average.
