Drying out tonight, and sunshine returns Thursday

The rain from earlier today will move out, and a brief slot of sunshine will return for Thursday.

THIS EVENING: Rain should be gone, and we should see a fairly dry evening. Temps will fall through the 40s.

OVERNIGHT: Skies should clear out and with a light breeze, temps will drop into the lower 30s and maybe even some upper 20s.

THURSDAY: The sunshine will make a brief return, though with some cooler temps. A northerly wind will keep highs in the low to mid 40s, but at least the sunshine will make it feel better.

8-DAY FORECAST, NEXT STORM SYSTEM: Late Friday a storm system will arrive in central Indiana. It will be weak at first, so other than some spotty rain, Friday may not be bad. By Saturday, the storm system will intensify right on top of us, so we will see strong wind, rain, maybe even a thunderstorm. As the system moves away, we could see a brief snow shower or pockets of flurries. Colder air with sunshine will return Sunday. Highs will only reach the mid 30s.
