Volunteers needed to create microfarm at The Fashion Mall

Have some time to spare? Raise your hand and come volunteer during the construction of a microfarm at The Fashion Mall at Keystone as part of Public Greens: Urban Kitchen with a Mission.

Volunteers are needed for THIS SATURDAY 9am-11am to help construct garden beds, a fence, and signage… planting will take place in the Spring.

Kate Franzman, Beekeeper/Farmer, Bee Public, tells us more:

About: Bee Public is a honeybee advocacy group that promotes awareness about bees and pollinators by managing beehives in public spaces such as the Monon Trail, Eskenazi Hospital, and the IMA. It also teaches youth about bees and has worked with the city council to pass a honeybee resolution in 2015.
