Milder Friday temperatures, then a mess develops Saturday

Active weather will be heating up late Friday into Saturday!

THIS EVENING: Temps will stay in the 30s as pesky cloud cover will linger, but it should be a dry evening.

OVERNIGHT: Clouds will thin out just a bit, and it should be enough to drop lows into the low 30s.

FRIDAY: Wind will shift to the south, which means milder air, and clouds will build back up in front of our next storm system. It will not be very organized Friday, so I think rain chances will stay away until late Friday evening, where we could see a few scattered showers. Temps will climb into the upper 40s during the day, then continue to climb into the lower 50s by late evening.

SATURDAY WEATHER GRAB BAG MESS: Saturday will see almost the full range of weather here in Indiana. As the storm system moves over Indiana, it will quickly intensify. This means that we could see some thunderstorms with maybe a threat of damaging wind, but even if we don’t, the wind will be howling in the morning up to 40 mph or higher. As the cold front passes through late in the day, temps will sharply drop, and we could see a burst of flurries and maybe a snow shower late Saturday afternoon and early evening.

8-DAY FORECAST: Sunday will be calmer, but colder, and pretty much a raw day with some wind, cloud cover to go along with the chill. Most of next week looks quiet, but colder-than-average, with highs in the 40s. Thanksgiving looks see temps in the mid 40s, but dry for now.
