Police investigate financial discrepancies at Lebanon Boys & Girls Club

LEBANON, Ind. (WISH) — The city’s police department is investigating financial discrepancies at the Lebanon Area Boys & Girls Club.

In a news release issued Thursday afternoon, police said the club’s board of directors discovered the discrepancies and reported them to the Lebanon Police Department.

Police said in a news release that the investigation is in its early stages and expected to take several weeks. The department declined to provide additional details until its investigation is concluded.

“The Board of Directors for the Lebanon Area Boys and Girls Club is comprised of several members of the community, including Assistant Chief Brad Bailey and City Councilman Corey Kutz,” the release said. “The Board of Directors is the reporting party in this investigation and neither Major Bailey nor Councilman Kutz have had any involvement in the investigation.”

No criminal charges have been filed, police said.
