Light wintry mix this evening, then colder air returns tonight

A cold front will slide through the state quickly this evening, precipitation should be more annoying than anything that causes problems.

THIS EVENING: Rain and some snow showers will move through the state. It should weaken as it does so, and with the ground being warm, most surfaces should not see accumulating snow. Temps will drop into the 30s this evening.

OVERNIGHT: Skies will clear rapidly, and with colder air sliding air, we will drop into the middle 20s for the bus stop and Wednesday drive.

COLDER WEDNESDAY: It will be a mix of sun and clouds Wednesday, and a light NW wind will keep temps in the upper 30s.

THANKSGIVING FORECAST: Temps will warm up a little bit, but it will still be colder-than-normal. Highs will reach the mid 40s. after morning lows in the upper 20s.

8-DAY FORECAST: Mainly dry days! For now, I have removed rain chances Saturday and next Tuesday, as it looks like most moisture will steer to our north, but we will keep an eye on it. Temperatures will swing between mild and colder several times over the next 8 days, as we have a progressive pattern.
