IMPD trying to identify 2 people of interest in year-old homicide case

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department has released surveillance video regarding the murders of two people almost a year ago.
Jessica Downey and Evans Johnson were both murdered four blocks apart on Nov. 23, 2016. The boyfriend and girlfriend had lived in the Vincennes and Evansville areas.
A surveillance video shows a suspect vehicle and two people of interest walking with Johnson just before his murder. Johnson is walking behind the two people of interest, who later run away.
If you know who the people are, you’re asked to call IMPD’s homicide office at 317-327-3475 or Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-8477. Police said the people could be from Evansville, Vincennes, or Indianapolis.
