Greenfield police search for bank robbery suspect

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Greenfield police are looking for a man they say robbed a bank on Friday morning.

Officers responded just after 11:15 a.m. to a Chase Bank located at 2057 N. State Street on a report of robbery.

Detectives describe the robbery suspect as a black male between six feet three inches and six feet five inches, of medium build, believed to be in his 40s or 50s. They say the man went inside the bank, demanded and was given an undisclosed amount of cash and then left the building going northbound.

Police say there were no injuries reported in connection to the incident.

The Greenfield Police Department is investigating this robbery in conjunction with the FBI Violent Crime Task Force.
