Man found guilty of 2016 fatal stabbing of woman
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man has been found guilty of stabbing a woman to death in his apartment in 2016.
38-year-old Ralph Tait was found guilty of the murder of 26-year-old Starr Eldridge. An autopsy would later reveal Eldridge suffered 13 stab wounds to the neck, shoulder, chest and head.
Officials discovered the body of Starr on September 25 after reports of a body being found floating in a pond.
Witnesses reported seeing Tait drag a blanket with human legs hanging out of it to vehicle prior to the discovery of Eldridge’s body.
Tait will be sentenced January 19 at 2 p.m.
