The candy jar: Brooke Martin reads a poem for David Barras as he says goodbye
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — If you’ve ever visited the WISH-TV newsroom, you might have noticed one desk frequented by the news team.
David Barras has two jars — one for chocolate candy, one for non-chocolate — for everyone at 24-Hour News 8 to enjoy.
Brooke Martin, inspired by those candy jars, wrote a poem for Dave and read it during Dave’s last broadcast, on Friday evening.
