27-year-old woman found dead on northeast side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police are investigating the death of a woman on the northeast side.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called to the 2800 block of Anna Lane — that’s near East 46th Street between Allisonville and Binford boulevards — on a death investigation around 10:30 p.m. Monday.
They arrived to find a 27-year-old woman outside at the The Point on Fall Creek Apartments with apparent trauma, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
She has since been identified as Brianna Coleman. The Marion County Coroner’s Office has ruled her death a homicide by gunshot.
No other details were immediately available.
