INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis Colts players Tuesday spent some time giving back to the community during the 12th annual Cold Feet, Warm Shoes and Hats event.

Each year, the Colts team up with hat maker Lids to provide shoes and hats to hundreds of local schoolchildren.

Tuesday’s event took place at Indianapolis Public Schools’ Wendell Phillips School 63.

Each child had a chance to pick out his or her favorite shoe and hat for themselves and to interact with the players.

More than 100 Lids employees also took part in Tuesday’s event.
