Home visit leads to drug arrest of Knightstown man

KNIGHTSTOWN, Ind. (WISH) – A Knightstown man was arrested following a home visit conducted by Henry County Corrections employees.

According to the Indiana State Police, the corrections employees as well as two ISP troopers stopped at a residence in the 3400 block of West County Line Road just after 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say during the search of the residence substances thought to be methamphetamine, hydrocodone, marijuana and narcotic pills were found. Additionally, drug related paraphernalia was also discovered in the home.

As a result of the search, 50-year-old Anthony Butler was taken into custody. He was transported to the Henry County Jail where he faces preliminary charges for possession of a controlled substance, paraphernalia and marijuana.
