Some flurries or a few snow showers possible tonight

Colder air will surge into Indiana tonight and Thursday.

THIS EVENING: A clipper will slide through most of the state dry. However, there could be a burst of flurries, maybe even a snow shower in West and Southwest Indiana that could put a coating of snow. Most places will be clear with temps tumbling into the low 30s.

OVERNIGHT: That SW Indiana snow burst will fall apart quickly and some clouds will fill into the rest of the state. Lows will drop into the 20s.

THURSDAY: Bitter cold air will arrive into the state, and highs may not reach 30 degrees tomorrow! Expect a mixture of sun and clouds and wind.

8-DAY FORECAST…SATURDAY SNOW? Another stronger clipper will arrive overnight Friday into most of Saturday. Expect light snow to fall. Our 1st Forecast calls for the potential of 1″-2″ of snow across most of central Indiana, with the far NE corner perhaps seeing more with Lake Effect enhancements. That will be the trickiest part of the forecast. Stay tuned as we will fine tune the forecast over the next few days. Most of the 8-Day Forecast features cold temps. More light snow chances late Monday into Tuesday, then again Wednesday.
