Fishers police seek driver who left van crashed into house

FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) — A driver crashed a van into a house Monday night and fled, police said in a Facebook post.

No one was at home when the crash occurred about 7 p.m.

Fishers Police Department are searching for the driver of a van that crashed into a house on 12200 block of Harvest Glen Boulevard in the Thorpe Creek-The Woods neighborhood located southwest of Southeastern Parkway and 126th Street. That’s about a 2 miles southeast of Hamilton Town Center mall.

By 11 p.m. Monday, police had suspended their search for the van’s driver. Also, the van had been removed from the side of the house.

Police said they expected to get records on the van and resume their search for the driver on Tuesday morning.

They asked anyone with information to call the Hamilton County Dispatch Center at 317-773-1282.
