More snow chances Wednesday

Most of Indiana saw decent sunshine today, but snow chances return Wednesday with another clipper.

THIS EVENING: The good news is that skies will clear, and the wind will go down a bit. The bad news is that it will still be cold. Temps will drop into the lower 20s.

OVERNIGHT: Temps will quickly drop into the low to mid teens, then as cloud and SW wind arrive overnight, temperatures will stabilize and hold in he upper teens and lower 20s.

2 CHANCES OF SNOW SHOWERS WEDNESDAY: The first chance could arrive at the end of the morning drive, mainly north and east of Indianapolis. Not much accumulation is expected, but there could once again be slick spots. The 2nd round could arrive by the end of the evening commute. Neither are expected to produce much accumulation (less than 1″), but again road conditions and visibility could be poor at times.

8-DAY FORECAST…MAINLY MILD TEMPS, MORE SNOW CHANCES: Temps will drop Thursday, then rebound Friday. As we transition to milder air, we could see light snow late Friday. The weekend will see high temps in the 40s, but a southern track storm system could bring a rain / snow mix Sunday night.
