Woman struck by a vehicle on the city’s east side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A woman was struck by a vehicle on the city’s east side.
The incident happened in the area of East 21st Street and North Post Road at approximately 7:15 a.m. Friday.
The 26-year-old female stepped out from behind a bus and attempted to cross 21st Street when she was hit by a minivan.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the woman was transported to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital.
She was said to be in serious condition at the time of transport.
It is unclear what lead up to the incident.
