Atlanta airport power outage affecting travelers in Indy

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – At the Indianapolis International Airport, lines at the Delta counter were packed early in the morning. Passengers trying to figure out what to do after three flights to Atlanta were cancelled were lined up. Many were frustrated and upset.

Some would miss their connecting flights others had to re-book completely. WISH-TV talked to one family of four heading to Tampa to catch a cruise for the holiday break. They ended up paying $800 for flights on Southwest Airlines after the Delta flight was cancelled.

In total, three flights were cancelled to Atlanta. Other flights were only delayed.
