3 children missing from Carroll Co. are not believed to be in danger

CARROLL COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a case of three missing children.

The sheriff’s office believes they are with their biological mother and are not in danger. The biological father of two of the girls is also believed to be with them.

According to CCSO, 33-year-old Leah Banks is believed to have taken her children from their grandmother’s residence in rural Carroll County. The three children are 8-year-old Georgia Banks, 6-year-old Amariah Banks and 12-year-old Aujhanay Udhus.

Banks and her husband, 42-year-old Kevin Banks, lost parental custody via a court in King County, Washington. Kevin Banks is the biological father of two of the girls. Leah Banks was staying with her mother in Carroll County over the holidays.

The sheriff’s office spoke with family members and determined the children are not in danger. The Indiana Missing Children’s Clearinghouse Center has determined that the case is not an Amber Alert case.

The group may be traveling to Arkansas in a dark blue Buick Terraza with Arkansas plate number 345VTN.
