Sahm’s Place holding trivia tournament after car drives into restaurant
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – It was a scary moment on Sunday when people were trying to enjoy a little brunch at Sahm’s Place on 65th Street and Keystone Avenue.
Just before noon, a car slammed into the restaurant.
Indianapolis Fire Department says a 90-year-old woman was trying to park but hit the gas instead of the break. There were about 60 people inside at the time, but no one was hurt.
Now, in order to help pay for repairs, Sahm’s Place is throwing a big party Tuesday night. It’s a winner-take-all trivia tournament with some food and drink specials too.
The owner of Sahm’s Place, Eddie Sahm, stopped by Daybreak to talk about the big night.
