Highs above normal with big changes by the weekend

A cool start with temperatures in the mid 30s and mostly cloudy. Highs will still remain above normal this afternoon hitting the lower 40s with partly sunny skies. Tonight we’ll clear it out and temperatures will fall into the lower 30s and upper 20s. Thursday will be another decent day with highs in the lower 50s with partly sunny skies. Later in the evening clouds begin to thicken as our next system moves in. We stay dry through late Thursday with the next chance of rain showers come Friday.

Much of the day we have scattered showers. Highs by the end of the week hit the mid 50s. Much colder air moves in late Friday and could allow form some transition in precipitation. A mix possible with periods of snow showers. Models still not in agreement with accumulation. After the snow and rain showers move out much the afternoon Saturday with remain on the cloudy side with highs in the mid 30s. Sunday we have an additional chance of accumulating snow. Accumulation for this event is too early for snow totals.Highs for Sunday will be even colder only topping out in the 20s.

We could see a white Christmas! Models not in agreement on totals yet. Highs in the lower 20s making for a cold holiday. The snow moves out but the cold lingers for the rest of the work week. Highs for Tuesday struggle to hit the 20s with lows falling in the lower single digits.
