Mild Thursday, still tracking weekend snow chances!

We will see very mild weather for the next 2 days before changes arrive for the holiday weekend.

THIS EVENING: It will be cooler than the past several evening, but skies will be clear! Temps will drop into the upper and mid 30s

OVERNIGHT: It will be a quiet night and temps again will drop into the upper 20s and lower 30s.

PLEASANT THURSDAY! Temps will climb even higher for the day Thursday, as highs will reach the low to mid 50s!

RAIN RETURNS FRIDAY: The next storm system will slide in Friday. There will be plenty of warm air with the system, so any of the scattered light precipitation should be in the form of rain. Highs will reach the mid 50s.

8-DAY FORECAST…WHITE CHRISTMAS? Chances are looking higher for perhaps some snow on the ground for Christmas. Saturday will see mainly rain, mainly early in the day, with maybe a few snow flakes on the back of the system. Sunday will have colder air in place and an upper-level disturbance swing through that could produce light snow by Sunday afternoon and Sunday night. There is disagreement in the 2 major medium-range models about this, but we are leaning to the European model for now. This has been consistent the past few days and meshes with other models that have been saying this. This will be the best chance of light snow cover for Christmas Day Monday. Bitter cold air will arrive Christmas Day and highs will only reach the low to mid 20s! A lot could change so stay tuned!
