Keeping pets safe in cold weather

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Being prepared for the winter season is critically important.

Bone-chilling wind chills and frigid temperatures are often the norm in December, January and February. While winter can be tough for people, it can be especially dangerous for animals.

Steven Stolen, the CEO of the Indy Humane Society, stopped by Daybreak Wednesday to talk about keeping pets safe in the winter.
